Snailhouse is a building in Kenshi which can be constructed or purchased by the player. It can be constructed after researching Large Building Shells. It is a considerably large structure, costing the same resources to build as the Stationhouse.

Though the Stationhouse's first and second floors are both individually larger than the entire square-footage of the Snailhouse, it does boast a second floor which is largely covered against potentially dangerous environments whilst still having a small portion of the second floor exposed and therefore capable of benefiting from mounting Small Wind Generators, Rain Collectors or Mounted Crossbows for defense.

Black Dog HQ is a Snailhouse.
