Empty Ruins are locations which contain no loot. These damaged structures serve as cosmetic world building tool to create a greater sense that Kenshi was once a thriving place but time has changed.

Examples of these can be found in Bonefields, Floodlands, South Wetlands, Stenn Desert, and The Swamp.
