Template:High-use
{{Strip tags}} removes tags <span>...</span>, <div>...</div> from the input string. It also removes markers from text (Wikimedia placeholders for reference, gallery, etc).
Intention is to produce a bare, unformatted text-only string. Developed to work with {{val}}.
